Logo Process
A friend of the family wanted to blow up the Stacy Repair’s logo (where she works), color it in, and give it to her boss for a Christmas present. Her boss’s dog passed away earlier this year, so it was a gift that was going to be special. She didn’t know where to begin as far as coloring, so she came to me. I had to trace the logo over in Illustrator to blow it up so it wouldn’t become pixelated. Then I colored it in Photoshop. It’s about 2’x2’.

Wedding Invites by Mark Pernice
Two pieces of cardstock, blind embossed on one side and gold foil stamped on the other then riveted together. In the middle is a piece of thread that falls out and hangs to reveal a message. “To love and to be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.” Also, included was an ink strip. Invitees were asked to include their thumbprints and that of their guests. Later, each place card was individualized with a unique design made from the two. Some guests got creative including messages, toes, entire fingers and a cats paw.
Please help me! It would mean the world to me if you voted for my design. The band actually choses the winner, but if you vote me in the top 5 (I think)… I can at least say that I’ve placed. I plan on using this piece in my portfolio and putting something like this on my resumé would help me in the ~real world~… tell me you voted so I can say thanks :)
